23 hours…that is how much time I just recently spent in New York City with the sole intent of getting myself into a taping of The Colbert Report. I had been to a taping of The Daily Show earlier this year and had jumped on tickets for TCR when I saw them available. Unfortunately, my boyfriend couldn’t go because of work training so one of my co-workers came with me.
The show was fabulous. Stephen is a sweet guy and extremely funny. The people running the show were mostly good to great. The only problem was that I didn’t have enough time to go see all the other stuff I wanted to see! Always a problem.

Can anyone figure out what the middle part of this graffiti is? I think it could be a spaceship or perhaps a mutant lobster?

I swear my TV is going to give me a seizure or something with all the “Channel Unavailable” crap that is going on right now. This is what I pay you an ungodly amount of money for each month? If I didn’t love certain shows that don’t play online, I would so ditch you…but keep the internet. I hate pirating that.
I can only hope that this settles down before the boy has to call the offices. He is raring to yell at someone and I pity the person on the other end of the phone.

I am sick…my boyfriend teaches 7th and 8th grade and one of his kids got him sick this week. And I finally have succumb to the ickness.
I generally don’t take pills because they knock me out completely, even if they say non-drowsy. My medicine of choice is usually chocolate chip cookies. With liberal doses of Law and Order and reality shows.
Today has been filled with ANTM and Chinese food 
We’ll see if I feel well enough to go to work tomorrow.
